FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Our Motorsports, Larry’s Hard Lemonade, and Jeb Burton Look to Raise Funds for Families Impacted by Robb Elementary School Tragedy Through Special Paint Scheme at PIR

Fans Encouraged to Text UVALDE to 501501 and a Make One-time $10 Donation to Support the Families and Community Affected by the Texas School Fatality

Lexington, N.C. (June 3, 2022)  Our Motorsports announces today Jeb Burton’s memorialized paint scheme for this Saturday’s inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Portland International Raceway (PIR) which pays respect to the 21 lives that were innocently taken during the May 24, 2022, tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, TX.

This weekend, “Text UVALDE to 501501 to give $10” can be read across the rear bumper and quarter panels of Burton’s No. 27 Chevrolet Camaro. Race fans and members of the motorsports’ community are encouraged to follow the call to action and give $10 (which will appear as a one-time donation on your wireless bill) to the Robb School Memorial Fund, which directly supports the students, families, faculty, volunteers, and Uvalde community who have been impacted by the horrific loss at Robb Elementary School.

“We’ll be racing with a purpose and a goal this Saturday – and that’s to deliver the best finish possible for everyone affected by last week’s tragedy at Robb Elementary School,” said Burton. “I’m asking the NASCAR community to come together and show their support by texting UVALDE to 501501 and making a $10 donation to help each family of the 21 victims who are struggling to cope with the loss of their loved ones.”

21 pairs of angel wings, individually overlaid with the face of Robb Elementary School’s coyote mascot are symbolized on the trunk of Burton’s race car to honor each of the 19 students and two teachers who lost their lives. Additional Robb Elementary School artwork encompasses the No. 27 Chevrolet Camaro in support of those affected by this tragedy.

“On behalf of the entire Uvalde CISD, we express our sincerest gratitude for the remarkable support of the NASCAR Xfinity Series. We are heartbroken at the innocent lives lost,” said Dr. Hal Harrell, Superintendent of Uvalde CISD. “The Uvalde CISD Administration, staff, and families will forever be thankful for the support of our community and nation. We believe in ourselves, pray for a brighter future, and together we are #Uvaldestrong.”

The Robb Elementary School memorial paint scheme will be on track for the Inaugural running of NASCAR Xfinity Series race at PIR this Saturday, June 4 with race coverage airing live on FS1 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

For those wishing to donate to the Robb School Memorial Fund may do so by contacting the First State Bank of Uvalde at (830) 356-2273 or by visiting www.onestarfoundation.org/uvalde.
