Brett Moffitt and the No.02 Destiny Homes Our Motorsports Chevrolet started tenth and brought home a thirteenth place finish after a hard fight at the Monster Mile and over coming two speeding penalties. JJ Yeley and the No. 23 Team Chevy Our Motorsports Chevrolet started thirty-first and finished fourteenth in the Drydene 200 at Dover International Speedway.
In the first stage of the race, Moffitt lost his starting positions and ran eighteenth for a while. The No. 23 car of Yeley ran mostly in the nineteenth position. The No. 02 came in to pit for four tires and fuel at lap 23.The No.23 of Yeley elected to stay out. Moffitt ended the stage in twenty-first and Yeley in nineteenth. Yeley started stage two in sixteenth position. Moffitt started in the twenty-second position. At lap fifty-eight, the red flag came out. When the race returned to green the No.23 was nineteenth and the No.02 was twenty-second. During lap eighty-three, the No.23 and the No.02 pitted. This resulted in Moffitt’s second speeding penalty of the day. The stage then ended under caution. In the final stage, Moffitt started thirtieth while Yeley was sixteenth. At lap one hundred- thirteen, Yeley was sixteenth and Moffitt was eighteenth. The remainder of the race the No.23 and No.02 ran in the fourteenth and fifteenth. This resulted in Moffitt’s No.02 Destiny Homes Chevy finishing the race thirteenth and Yeley’s No. 23 Team Chevy finishing fourteenth.
