The Our Motorsports fleet had an eventful day at Pocono Raceway Sunday in the Pocono Green 225 NASCAR Xfinity Series event. Brett Moffitt and the No. 02 Sokal team started the race 17th and finished 11th. The No. 23 Raceline Chevy of Blaine Perkins started 31st and finished the day 34th after racing up front for most of Stage 3 until a suspension issue sent the No. 23 to the garage.

“We had an average day at Pocono,” said Moffitt. “All race we battled tightness in our Sokal Media Chevy. Just missed out on another top-ten, but we’ll take an eleventh and move on to Road America next weekend. Again, thanks to Sokal for their ongoing support of this Our Motorsports team. My thoughts and prayers are with Mark, Cindy and their entire family as they mourn the loss of Robert.”

The 225-mile race at the Tricky Triangle marked Perkins’ fourth NXS start behind the wheel of the No. 23 for the Our Motorsports organization.

“I’m really proud of everyone on the 23 Raceline Wheels, Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, Chevy as we had great speed in yesterday’s race,” commented Perkins. “We ran inside the top-10 for portions of the race and were on track for a top-15 finish before a suspension issue ultimately took us out of contention. We learned a lot as a team and I’m looking forward to getting back in the car at Daytona later this season!”

The NXS returns to action next weekend for left and right turns at Road America in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The Henry 180 is set for Saturday, July 3 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
