Brett Moffitt and the No.02 Destiny Homes Our Motorsports Chevrolet started twenty-seventh and brought home a twelfth-place finish after leading several laps in the CookOut 250 at Martinsville Speedway. Blaine Perkins and the No. 23 Raceline Wheels/ Truex Management Group Our Motorsports Chevrolet started thirty-second and finished thirty-fifth after a late race incident.
In the first stage of the race, Moffitt showcased the strength of the Our Motorsports program by consistently moving up throughout the stage. Perkins also moved steadily forward during the first stage to put him in position to run with the leaders early in stage 2. Moffitt and Perkins were running first and sixth early in stage two. Unfortunately, the rain came down around the 90-lap mark with Moffitt in third place and Perkins in seventeenth place. The race was eventually postponed due to weather and started back up Sunday at noon.
On Sunday the Our Motorsports team came back strong. In the final stage, Moffitt lost some spots early, but flexed his speed as he fought his was to the top ten. With seventy-five laps to go, Perkins was collected when Joe Graf Jr. dumped the car of Gray Gualding, collecting the No.23. This resulted in the No.23 going behind the wall to repair damage, causing Perkins to finish the race thirty-sixth. However, Moffitt finished a strong eleventh.
