The driver of the No. 02 Fr8Auctions Chevrolet started in the 23rd position. Perkins, piloting the No. 23 CircleBDiecast.com Chevrolet, took the green from the 16th position. Perkins scored his first stage victory at the conclusion of Stage 2 with his teammate Moffitt right behind him finishing second. Moffitt was running strong in the eighth position with 12 laps to go until being involved in a multi-car wreck took the No. 02 out of contention. Perkins’ 13th-place result stands as his best finish in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition.
